Dr. Bee Yang, D.C.

Best Care Chiropractic

For as long as he can remember, Dr. Bee Yang has always had a strong sense to care for those around him. Growing up in a Christian household, Bee was brought up to serve and to always give back to the community. It came as no surprise when Bee chose to pursue a career as a chiropractor. “I like the idea of healing people without the use of drugs,” Bee said.

Dr. Bee Yang graduated from Edison High School in 1987 and went on to complete his bachelor’s degree after four years at UC Santa Cruz 1991. His education was complimented with his Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Life Chiropractic College which was completed after another four years in 1995.

In 1996, Dr. Bee Yang became the first Hmong chiropractor in Fresno to open his own clinic: Best Care Chiropractic. Bee recalls that starting his own business was very challenging. “There was no one to look up to and no examples to follow and we didn’t have courses in college that taught us how to run a business, just training to be doctors.” When he first opened his clinic, Bee expressed that there was a lack of knowledge about chiropractic care in the Hmong community. “People used to come to me asking for medications and prescriptions.” He worked hard to build his practice one client at a time and gradually helped the community learn about the many benefits that chiropractors could provide. “Most of my clients are car accident patients, but chiropractic treatments can help to address chronic pain, headaches, and sports injuries as well.”

It’s been 17 years since Bee first opened his clinic and since then, the Hmong community has progressed immensely. Dr. Bee Yang concludes, “Over the years, I have made a niche for my practice, and the key to running a successful business is Service; Be polite and always try to carry a conversation with all your customers.” Best Care Chiropractic is open to all ethnicities, but the majority of business is from within the local Fresno Hmong community. “Thank you to all my past patients and I am happy to have had my community support my business all these years.” Dr. Bee Yang encourages Hmong people to never forget who we are. “Know and remember where you came from and have a spirit of serving.” In addition to being a great chiropractor, Dr. Bee Yang is also an accomplished musician who records and plays in the band at his church as well as local venues.
